HURON-BRUCE— Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson has been acclaimed as the Progressive Conservative candidate in the riding of Huron-Bruce for the next provincial election.

This is the fourth nomination for Thompson, who was first elected in 2011. The acclamation of the third-term MPP followed a virtual candidate nomination meeting on Saturday, held by members of the Huron-Bruce Ontario PC Party riding association.

“I have always advocated for the priorities of Huron-Bruce. I appreciate the opportunity to continue my efforts to demonstrate the important need for broadband, as well as the need to support strong community economic development and the infrastructure that goes hand in hand.

“I am extremely proud and humbled to have been given the honour of representing the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario in the next election,” said Thompson.
